My Menopause Blog: I Am Menopausal, Hear Me Roar
Currently, over 40 million women, more than 1/3 of the women in the United States, are experiencing menopausal symptoms.
I couldn't find any current Canadian stats but I'm sure it's safe to say that 1/3 of us are following suit. Bloodiless hell, 1/3 of the women of the world are in the Meno Club.
As much as it may feel like you are 'the only one feeling like this', it simply isn't so. And, yah know, there's strength in numbers.

I am done well not entirely as I still go through some of the crap we have. It started off with the sweats. I wanted to live in Alaska then and soy milk helped too.
No more periods but at the time of the sweats it was every 3 months then, every 6 months, then one big banger.
My mind is in pluto as I have so called "Brain Farts", I am sensitive more, and the anxiety attacks drive me insane but thanks to Welltribun (sp).
Your body still acts like it has it's period every month still even though I am done.
Last...talk about no sex drive...ZIPO out the window.

Sadly many women around the world don't live long enough to hit menopause... parts of africa like zambia and zimbabwe, the life expectancy of a child born today is less than 33ys...

Well thank GOD I am not alone!! I can say that my sex drive has not left me yet. I'm holding on to that with everything I have. Strength in numbers!!! YES!!!!
