My Menopause Blog: Menopause Awareness Month
My Period did not like Menopause Awareness Month. It was clearly threatened. Jealous even. Certainly competitive.
How do I know this?
Well unlike June, July and August when not a peep was heard, no spots, not a twinge, September welcomed not 1 but 2 periods. Two. Like twice.
Take that Menopause Awareness!! Pow! Kaboom!

I went a whole year without one and then had to have some surgery. Right after surgery guess what came to visit? Oh yea. I couldn't believe it. Then the old countdown started all over again. But that was the last one ever. Don't miss them yet.

Yes, the count down begins again.
At least you have a polite period, visiting post- surgery and all. How kind. Did it bring flowers? A card? Home baking perhaps?
